Tranquil Tuesdays @ Yotel Boston

The Boston Buddha offers a wide range of Attention and Compassion Techniques (ACT trainings) through meditation and mindfulness. These trainings are designed to cultivate positive qualities of mind—qualities like clear, sustained attention; compassion; patience; generosity; kindness; willpower; strength; perseverance; forgiveness; humor; warmth; and empathy.

We believe happiness comes from the mental habits you consistently practice—from moment-to-moment awareness. These are our mental push-ups. With regular practice, we can train the mind to embody the qualities we admire. We start to see the things we like about ourselves – instead of reactivley fixating on everything we don’t like about ourselves – helping us get out of our own way and live happier, more fulfilling lives.

Meditation For Beginners

Get started. Get centered. Get back on track.

Whether you’re brand new to meditation or just looking to restart your practice, these beginner-friendly classes are for you. No experience needed—just an open mind and a willingness to slow down.

You’ll learn the essentials:

  • What meditation is (and what it’s not)

  • What to expect when you start

  • The benefits of a consistent practice

  • How to bring mindfulness into your everyday life

We’ll explore simple techniques, including breath awareness and the use of a silent sound (or mantra), to help you settle your mind and turn inward—beyond the distractions of thoughts, emotions, and daily stress—to that quiet space of stillness and clarity within.

Every session includes time for questions and ends with a guided meditation. You’ll walk away feeling grounded, more present, and supported in building your own meditation routine.

Awareness In the Workplace

Corporate Meditation Workshops

Practical Tools for a Healthier, More Productive Workplace

Our Corporate Meditation Workshops offer simple, easy-to-learn techniques that can be customized to fit seamlessly into your business schedule. Led by Andy Kelley, The Boston Buddha, these sessions are designed to increase workplace efficiency, support employee well-being, and create a more focused, balanced company culture.

In today’s fast-paced, tech-driven world, employees are working harder and faster—often with fewer resources. Workplace stress is one of the most overlooked, yet most impactful, health challenges companies face. Chronic stress can lead to tension between staff and management, reduced productivity, lower morale, and rising healthcare costs.

This 60-minute workshop helps individuals redefine how they work—by learning to manage their personal energy through mindfulness and meditation. As Andy often says:

“When I take 10 to 20 minutes to step away and meditate in the afternoon, I’m dramatically more productive and efficient. I actually get more done.”

Workshop Benefits

  • Enhance productivity, effectiveness, and communication

Mindfulness Workshops for Educators

Our Mindfulness Workshops For Educators will help you teach your students HOW to pay attention. The program brings dramatic improvements in concentration, attention and unity among students.

After years of extensive research, we know that learning to be mindful can:

• Increase Attention Span

• Improve Impulse control

• Reduces stress

• Build community and Empathy

Our Curriculum:

We use a combination of techniques used in mindfulness meditation trainings. Every class starts with a game or activity and ends with an introspective meditative period, focusing on the present moment and breath awareness.  In the middle is the teaching objective – for example, how to use mindfulness in the following ways:  to calm down, to focus, to help you go to sleep, to see yourself more clearly, or to help you in conflict resolution.

We will come to your school and create a program for your Students, Educators and Faculty.

Testimonials:

“The great thing about Andy is that he’s very accessible and didn’t make the topic of meditation something I couldn’t relate to.  He explained the correlation between meditation and scientifically proven medical benefits to a guy like me.  It is good to know that medicine has proven there are very real benefits.”

David D.

“I have loved the ‘Introduction to Meditation’ classes I have attended – the incorporation of meditation has brought a lightness to my step and a softness to my heart and your quotes are perfect pauses each day… to reflect and appreciate moments/connections/love.  Thank you for helping to make the small steps of progress possible.”

Colleen R.

“The meditation techniques I learned from Andy’s workshop have helped me approach situations at work with a clearer and calmer mind, resulting in a better outcome for both myself and my coworkers. If there’s one place the incredible benefits of meditation can be put to use, it’s in the workplace.”

Jenny V., Hill Holliday

“The session was awesome and I really liked Andy and his manner with the team. I waited, though, to see what the reaction was today and everyone is raving. They really enjoyed the session, so many people were pleased and surprised at how easily they ‘got’ it, and everyone noticed a huge increase in their energy levels yesterday. They’re even staying more focused today.”

Christine S., Thomson Reuters

“Thank you so much for the wonderful work you did with our children. We were so lucky to have people like you who were willing to offer their time and effort to introduce our kids to one of the most important things in life: How to live mindfully.”

Amel, mother of First Grade student

“Thank YOU so much for sharing this information with our children.  I admit that Dieter wasn’t thrilled about the class when I first signed him up but by the end he was reminding me ‘It’s Monday, I have that class today’ and he cheerfully walked himself up to the library… Once he got angry at home (frustrated with homework or something) and he suddenly got really quiet. When I asked him what he was doing he said, ‘Mom, I’m breathing’. So I guess it’s getting through. Have a great summer and please let us know if any other classes come up, for kids or adults! Thanks again.”

Judy, mother of Fifth Grade student
